Hard but Good...

Sometimes it may seem like the world is so unfair, people who don't do good deeds get what they want but people who do good doesn't. And sometimes I feel the same way too... This week started with a very down day, I asked GOD "why Lord? why?" I knew in my head that He already had plans for me but still my heart didn't feel that way. I didn't really feel the peace in my heart anymore. I started to look at people's fault without seeing the a bigger fault in myself...

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.- Luke6:41-42 -

I was down for one whole day and I just couldn't show my love to anyone around me, I asked God again "why Lord?"

But sooner that day God really touched my heart with a song.

I realised, I'm really a helpless girl with no way to go but to let God lead, and everything is possible with GOD but one thing impossible thing for Him is that God will never lie. And God promised that if we stay in Him, He promised that He'll never forsake us... and well what really reminded me of His promise was the "raincircle" He gave us on Friday... How blessed are we to have such a great God. And really I've learned to be humble and really commit everything into His hands...

Walking with God - #1

Yeah, I have not been blogging since...(not so long ago) Well, I've been through stressful situations throughout this whole week. But I just want to thank God for His love and grace that guides me through everything.

I didn't do so well in my recent semester examination, probably due to my attitude towards studies, being over confident. I was spending precious time building sand castles out of thin air. Although I do admit I really put my heart and soul into studying. Sleeping at 3-4 hours a day for 3 weeks just to finish studying. But I came to realise all these things I did is all vanity.

Through the recent youth camp that I've attended. I learned that scoring 'A' in GOD is much more important than anything else. This includes having a close relationship with GOD. Being able to obey Him and to be submissive to Him.It's hard enough to obey our parents (whom are visible and audible to us) what more to say our Heavenly Father whom we can't see? Nevertheless, by Faith and His love we are able to feel His presence and believe in Him.

I do agree, following God is hard because following Him means going through the narrow path. It's like following Him into the wilderness, just as John Chapter 6, the crowd was led to the wilderness. In order to follow Jesus, We've got to be broken down by Him as in humble ourselves and surrender all to Him.

So, through this week. I have really put my level of patience into test. God has been giving me trials over trials. But again God did not lead me into situations I can't overcome. "The hath no temptation taken you but such as in common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." -1 corinthians 10:13- And when I'm tested in faith, it develops perseverance. Thank God He is ever faithful "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." -James 1:3-4-

Sometimes, we all have to take a break and observe our surroundings. then only will we see how GREAT and MIGHTY our God is. True enough words can't describe His love for us. Imagine He created us with just one breath but He still love us. And praise God! His love for us will never ever change, for He is the same God yesterday, today and tomorrow. PRAISE GOD!!! He is just so real to me and I really feel that materialism is really useless. I've known people who indulge themselves in materials but are never satisfied. A rich man can have all the riches of the world but still fell empty. But someone who has felt God's presence can live with joy throughout His days, and it is so true that the Joy of the LORD is my strength!

"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see Him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory" -1 Peter 1:6-8-

Band Camp 2007

Obviously, It's like the "hot" topic of the band mates... And it's undeniably a memorable camp. It ain't a really 100% FUN camp, but it also aint any BORING CAMP...Date: 28th - 30th May 2007

To cut the long and boring story short, I'll just explain the pictures... The pic above was taken on the 3rd day, at 7:15. MIND YOU dat's SUPER early for people who like slept at 3... haha thank GOD it's blur or you'd probably see sum weird faces *cough* i mean sleepy faces there... The 3rd day was kinda fun, as it was really like a relaxing day for us after having aches and all that.

As I say 3rd day, RELAX... *giggles* these people were having some gay time...
okay, i'm here to advertise... see the 3 guy without shirt? they have GOOD body shape, one of them with 4 packs... the rest jsut works out... haha

the first thing that caught my eye at the resort was this pretty lil' sign haha... actually i wanted to edit the pic and put kelvin's face on a monkey trying to climb the tree, but nah It's too troublesome. The first thing we did there was to discover that *horror music -jeng jeng jeng* the room is darn small...

The next thing we all discovered was dat, everyone of our parents think we're going to strave there, so they packed like tones of food for us... Mind you that ain't all of the food we brought haha... After settling down for 30minutes, I cooked lunch for my roomates to eat, *jump with joy* IT AIN'T THAT BAD!!! haha well DUH!!! it's just instant noodles haha.
Haha Memories of the pain. Well, after lunch we had a few games, first it was the "many-leg(ed) Race" and my group (PRODIGY) *cough* PROUD to say that my group was disqualified haha, due to our defected hearing and seeing machanism. We thought that the finishing line was somewhere before the actual finishing line and samuel dived through it. haha BUT the 2nd game "tug of war" PRODIGY won!!!

Now about the picture, it happened during the 3rd game called "physical race" In a set there's 6 types of exercise done by 6 poeple in a group of 10, so it's kind of like a teamwork, if you're tired let the others take over... so I did the baby crawl. MY GOSH!!! dat's the most tiring one i think, it sounds easy but it's tiring... try doing it up and down your house 4 times haha... SIT UPS, i'm ok with that and last but not least the cause of my ugly wound... the GLIDING... i had to glide on the SAND like a snake. So as like what is stated in physics, frictional force causes things to wear out, and in my case, MY skin wore out.. haha (of course there's no such statement) i mean peel of. By the end of the whole games we got 2nd... haha Of course it hurts... and In the picture, I'm in the process of cutting away all my dead skin.. haha owh yeah thanks to beth and linda for helping me through the PAIN!!!! haha

Now on the first night we had Barbeque dinner and it was fun, with WEN as our lead Barbeque master lol!!! WEN in action!!!
When it got darker, a few of us decided to head for the beach... NAH not for a stroll or something. It's to call our dear parents... but erm also to enjoy the waves clashing sound... and the take some pictures. It was a romantic night, pity I had to date the moon!!! haha (KELVIN see no QADYA sobs - hahaha)

The second day, was extremely tiring, I didn't even have time to take pictures but conclusion of the day was dat PRODIGY won volleyball, PRODIGY got 2nd in treasure hunt, PRODIGY got 2nd in cooking competition.

MY MY GOSH i forgot I didn't take a pic of my masterpiece, my PINEAPPLE CHICKEN. Isn't it amazing that the blogger of this blog cooks??? and furthermore a very delicious dish *coughs coughs* hahahahah what to do, face thick mahr!!! And we had camp fire night, YEAH!!! the nicest part of the camp.

After camp fire gathering, that is pass 12, as we were walking back to our chalets from the beach we bumped into a lecturer (astronomy - penang university) observing the stars, and he was willing to share the interest in stars and planets and gosh!!! it's so super nice... Imagine 3 hours of something that is actually very interesting...
This picture was taken with Flor's camera and gosh it's nice right??? I'd learn that the stars you're seeing now may be a star back a few years ago and it might not even be there today due to the far distance. haha AND that night something very special and unforgettable happened.. haha

Owh yeah did I mention that 15 of us gurls had to squeeze our ass into one tiny little chalet??? Anyways how do we sleep??? simple I SLEPT IN THE KITCHEN... horrible horrible horrible... couldn't sleep!!! 2 hours for the first night ask pam, Whenever she got up I'm up.. haha
